Streets: A Rock Opera is the sixth studio album by Savatage, originally released on October 15, 1991. Based on a story written by producer Paul O'Neill, the rock opera follows the rise, downfall, and eventual redemption of a fictional, drug-dealing rock star named D.T. Jesus on the streets of New York City.  It stands as one of the band's most critically acclaimed works and was lead vocalist Jon Oliva's final full-length album as the primary lead singer before 2001.
